Millions at Risk of Biggest Earthquake in 200 YEARS as ‘Much WORSE’ Big One Forecasted - California

Those of you who follow my posts will remember that back in January I wrote about an article I saw online at 4am on January 18, 2016.  It was about a Mega Quake that was being forecasted to strike California.

It seems that the main stream is FINALLY starting to accept this and is printing stories about it.  They posted about this back in 2011 and once in 2015, but didn't take it seriously, like they seem to be doing now.

(Express) CALIFORNIA is bracing itself for a much worse major earthquake than previously expected, with fears two fault lines will be triggered at the SAME time.
Professors said California is not prepared for the double hit, with fears infrastructure would come crashing down if the fault lines triggered simultaneously.
No one, scientists included, disputes southern California is long overdue a so-called 'Big One' earthquake of magnitude 8 or more.
But now scientific research shows it is going to be bigger than anything seen before in the region, posing a threat to millions of people along the west coast of the US.
Damage during a large earthquake which hit Los Angeles in 1994
The last massive earthquake along the 810 mile San Andreas fault – which runs from San Diego to Cape Mendocino - was 1812, when the area faced major devastation and loss of life between San Diego and San Buenvaventura.
New research says the separate and adjacent 180 mile-long San Jacinto fault, which runs through more populated cities, San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego , will also erupt at the same time.

It means disaster officials have underestimated how many people will be affected in the event of a mega quake.

Julian Lozos, an assistant geophysics professor at California State University, claims to have found evidence both fault lines erupted at the same time during the 1812 natural disaster.
Writing in a paper published in the Journal Science Advances, he said: "If that happened once, there is a strong chance it can happen again.
"Looking at old earthquakes in general is really a good way to figure out what faults are capable of doing."
Geologists have always believed there was a separate quake along San Jacinto before the horrific San Andreas quake on December 8, 1812.
But Mr Lozos now believes San Jacinto was actually the starting point of a mega quake across both areas.
He suggests it started in Mystic Lake, travelling north up the San Jacinto fault line.
He added: "This precedent carries the implications that similar joint ruptures are possible in the future and that the San Jacinto fault plays a more significant role in seismic hazard in southern California than previously considered."
Lisa Grant Ludwig, a University of California professor, said the region was not prepared for this.
She said: "In southern California, much of our infrastructure was built to withstand a rupture of either the San Andreas or San Jacinto faults, but not both at the same time."

Here is my original article:

It was just the other day, Monday, January 18, 2016, that I woke up at 4:20 am EST many hours before I really needed to be awake (yuk!).  I did not have a dream that woke me up, nor a word from the Lord, just an urgency to check my Feedly News Ap.  This happens to me frequently, and usually, it's nothing alarming, but not on this day.
The first article I saw was the one shown below and records the time I posted it on my Daily Prophecy Digest Facebook Page, as 4:54am.

Here is an excerpt from the article posted above shared from SuperStation95 in NY, NY:

If you go to this article now, you can see the updates showing how the main stream media, for some reason does not like this post.
The other odd thing that morning, was the VERY NEXT ARTICLE I saw, was one from the Bellingham Herald in Bellingham, WA.  It was published on their website the day before the SuperStation95 article, on January 17, 2016.  The thing I found odd was that it was a generic article about preparing for the "Big One" to hit the West Coast of the USA.  I sent the journalist the link to the SuperStation95 article at 5am and he responded right away with a big WOW!
Here is the headline of this Bellingham Herald article:
Bellingham Herald Earthquake Planning

Since Monday, there has been a lot of chatter online, but with very little main stream media reporting on this incident.  Even on the SuperStation95 article, you can see the updates they are posting regularly showing all the criticism and disdain for this information.  The author clearly proves them wrong with his responses.
The truth is, there is a lot more to this story than meets the eye.  There were and are definate indications of a coming Earthquake and Tsunami.  Here are the links to more information on this topic:

2,000+ SMALL EARTHQUAKES HAVE HIT THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST SINCE NEW YEARS DAY

Along the northern end of the Puget Sound and Strait of Juan de Fuca, the faults are waking up. Mere months after The The New Yorker wrote an article saying residents in the greater Seattle area were doomed, the region has been rocked by thousands of earthquakes. From January 1st, 2016 through January 4th, 2016, there were 2,413 earthquakes in the Salish Sea region of the Pacific Northwest. Even more amazing is that since Christmas Day, nearly 8,000 small quakes have hit Vancouver Island, the Salish Sea and the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State.

Before you panic and think this is a precursor to “The Big One”, it is worth understanding exactly what is going on. The Outdoor Society recently emailed a staff member at the United States Geological Survey (USGS) who helped not only calm our nerves, but also learned some good information about the fault activity in the Salish Sea region of the Pacific Northwest.
The earthquakes shaking the region are not large, and usually occur without press or fanfare. In fact, roughly 99.99% of these quakes have been under magnitude 2.0, with only one large quake, a magnitude 4.3 near Victoria, BC, felt in the area being reported.  The quakes are part of what is called an earthquake swarm and a Slow Slip Episode. The Slow Slip Episodes and Swarms are actually quite common in the region. Around Southern British Columbia and Northern Washington State, they have been occurring every 14 months or so since at least the 1990s.

It is important to note, as the map indicates, that these small events are part of a much bigger underlying process. Altogether, the seismicity marks where slow slip on the subduction zone plate interface is occurring, and the total amount of slip (a few centimeters) over such a large area can equate to a magnitude ~6.5. It just happens slowly enough that these low-level tremors are the only seismic waves generated.
– Aaron Wech, USGS

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Since these quakes are part of a known pattern, the news about the frequency or number should not scare anyone. While some media outlets are blaming this quake swarm on fracking, the quakes appear to be a natural event that occurs approximately every 14 months. Instead of building up pressure for one large quake, our swarms and slow slips are relieving pressure on the regional tectonic plates. As Aaron Wech of the USGS shared, the total amount of pressure released from the Slow Slip can equate to a magnitude 6.5. Please read  Official Article from the USGS about the tremors here.
The Slow Slip swarms of earthquakes that are hitting Vancouver Island and the waters of the Pacific Northwest is part of life along and around tectonic plates. They should not cause fear or panic, but instead serve as a reminder that we live in an area that can (and will) have numerous earthquakes. Right now, the plates are sliding fine, working off stress instead of bottling it all up for one big episode. Personally,  I hope that this pattern keeps up and continues to possibly delay “The Big One” that we have been hearing about for decades. That being said, please remember to always be prepared in case there is a larger slip and we do have strong earthquake. Might as well be prepared, right?

UPDATE.

As of January 7th, 2016, the earthquake swarms have continued. The are still drifting Southeast, though no reports of shaking have been felt in the region. The quakes are now under the non-volcanic Olympic Mountains and the fjord of Hood Canal. On January 7th, there were another 315 small tremors suspected.

In this article, NW megaquake imminent? Report is bogus, scientists say , you can clearly see that they are trying to make us think this is "bogus"and fake.

You will have to decide, and history will eventually reveal whether this was something to be concerned about or not. Whatever the case, GOD is in control! AMEN!

I will leave you with this video:
